Featured in 'Georgia Straight'

We are featured in the stylewatch section of the Vancouver paper, 'Georgia Straight,' this week! It is a good size article, with a huge image of Rosy Yang, our model and friend, posing beautifully with the fuchsia bow clutch.

The interview for this article took place just this past Monday, with Janet Smith, a super nice editor for Georgia Straight, and through getting images and details ready for the article in the past couple of days, it was ready to go for today's paper! It seems like everything happened in a matter of minutes!

If you didn't get the chance to pick up a hard copy, here is the online version.

Johnie Emma Gall, who used to run her own blog called 'Lucinda and Jane", is now a part of a team at Tonic, a California based media company focused on good that happens each day in neighborhoods all around the world. They say that "our world is defined by a philosophy that people want to matter and make a difference instead of being defined by age, race, income, gender or geography."

When Johnie Emma used to run her blog, she did a small article about us, and now, she did another one, but this time at Tonic! Check it out here!

'Catwalk for Cure' Recap

kids.jpg

We had our first fashion show debut this Thursday at the Roundhouse in Vancouver. It was a fundraiser event called 'Catwalk for Cure' in support of Rethink Breast Cancer. The event brought fashion from Boudoir, Babe Belangere, Gateau Lingerie, Pen & Paper apparel, Plenty, Porscia and Davie & Chiyo!

The night opened with Julia and her piano, setting a nice ambiance while the guests mingled and placed bids on silent auction items on display. Kim Cathers of Project Runway, Canada hosted the event as MC, and the night flew by with alternating fashion exhibits and dance performances. The trio dance team called Cookies & Cream blew the audience away by their cute yet amazing dance moves. Carly Rae Jepsen from Canadian Idol closed the night with her sweet songs.
